Springkit was getting restless. She loved spending time with the elder, but she hated feeling helpless, especially when they start coughing and she doesn't know what to do. Her paws had unintentionally led her to the medicine cats den. She has wanted to talk to Spiritfrost for a while now, but she was a little daunted by the prospect. What if her fear was confirmed and Spiritfrost told her she wasn't cut out for it. She didn't think anything could be worse than having the one cat she wanted to be like telling her she wasn't good enough. Springkit blinked away from her thoughts and realized that she was standing in front of the medicine cats den. Not wanting to be seen standing around she sprung away. SMACK! She had accidently ran straight into none other than the deputy, Spiritwalker.

Spiritwalker watched amusedly as Springkit wandered over to the medicine cat den. Obviously she wanted to be a medicine cat herself. He padded towards her and stopped two fox-tails away from the kit. When the kit bounced and ran into him Spiritwalker's tail twitched, getting ready to speak. He cleared his throat. "Aren't you getting a bit to big to be in the nursery?" he inquired. Spiritwalker already knew the answer, just making it a question that wasn't supposed to be answered. "Maybe I might have a word with Ebonystar, arrange a certain special ceremony for you. Only StarClan knows," he purposely kept on dropping hints on the kits upcoming ceremony. Spiritwalker couldn't wait, he loved watching kits grow up to be great cats. And the Clan definately needed more support in the medicine cat section. Plenty warriors and regular apprentices. Pretty soon Springkit would be Springpaw.

"Ooof, Spiritwalker! I'm really sorry I didn't mean to..." Springkit trailed off as she realixed he wanted to speak. Her eyes widened as she listened to what he was saying. By the time he was done, she was bursting with excitement. "Do you really think so?" Springkit asked her eyes full of hope as she thought of the ceremony. She could feel her heart pounding against her chest and she wondered if he could hear it. Right now she wanted to run around and yowl like a kit, but she knew that wouldn't be smart. Especially since Spirtwalker had just implied that she had outgrown the nursery. So instead she settled for twitching her tail back and forth.

Spiritwalker couldn't hide his amusement when, the kit had tried to act like an apprentice. She was a good kit. "Yep, in fact I'll go talk to Ebonystar right now about your ceremony. Who knows it might be tonight if your lucky," he meowed. As Spiritwalker padded towards the leaders den, out of the corner of his eye, he could see the kit trying to bundle her excitement together. 'Well thats another ill have to watch' he thought. Especially since she was a medicine cat apprentice, that was even more exciting.
