Prologue

Silent steps carried on to the cat's home. It's den. "Wait! Please! I'll be your mate don't throw me out! I'll give you a son!" Cried a beautiful dark gray tabby she-cat meowed. "Yes you will. Or I'll kill you myself. Listen Baby I'm everything you wanted right?" the dark gray tabby nodded fear clung to her pelt. "Well statle up!" He flung her into the wood. Grinning as his shadow disappeared into every other shadow. And the faint sound of moans and hisses and goans formed.

*2 moons later*

The black tom stared at three cats. "Scourge, Tigerstar, Hawkfrost. You have sent me here why?" the black tom watched as Tigerstar meowed. "Forever was just an time. Poppy never turned brown. Than like the wind. Yern never shown good. Now Poppy is dead." Than there was a scream. "Yernstar! your mate his having kits! One female so far!" A white she-cat with brown paws meowed. Yernstar and the she-cat raced towards the nursery. "She's doing good. She just had a male. Still born." Yernstar grew up-set. "da.mn you Riversong you promised me a SON!" But than a rippled went threw Riversong. "A boy and alive!" Riversong let out a sigh and mumbled. "Foreverkit is your son Yernstar. Your daughter is Poppykit." Yernstar stared in both horror and anger. "Perfect..." He turned and marched out. Riversong sighed and meowed. "Take Lunarkit to Inkheart please."

Chapter 1

Forever Was A Place In Time

Rain scattered the ground below paw. A handsome gray, black and white tom with handsomer hazel eyes. "Where are we going?" The tom voiced him self into the world. "I don't know Lunarpaw...." The gray, black and white tom mumbled to the black tom with large amber eyes. Than a soft pelted gray she-cat with beautiful blue eyes stepped out from behind the two tom cats. "Foreverpaw, Lunarpaw. My dear apprentice and his friend, must you always know where your going?" The gray, black and white tom seemed to be Foreverpaw. Lunarpaw was the black tom. "Yes Dancingcreek." Lunarpaw answered honstly. But Foreverpaw thought slowly and mumbled. "We shouldn't always know, but it's good to know."

Dancingcreek on the other paw, wasn't the greatest she-cat to smart-mouth. "Excuse me Foreverpaw. You know your father will give you a break but that gives you no right to tick me off." But that wasn't it. Foreverpaw only nodded keeping his tongue with in his mouth. The only reason Yernstar didn't hurt any one was because of Quietsong. The deputy. "What are you going to do about me bad mouthing you. Tell Yernstar I know every dirty little secert." Foreverpaw grinned darkly. His eyes dark and mystrey.

But that wasn't the problem. "GO SEE YERNSTAR!" Dancingcreek snapped. Foreverpaw didn't know anything about Dancingcreek before his father became leader, but he guess she was once nice. "GO!" Growled Dancingcreek. Foreverpaw wipped around and lumped into camp with his head high. "Oh no..." whispered a small voice. Onepaw. The tom only took one step at the time. So if he were to become a great warrior he would most likely been named Onestep. "Be care-ful Foreverpaw. Riversong made your father mad." Onepaw warned as he stuck into the shadows one paw at a time.

"Father..." Foreverpaw mumbled into the leader's den. A shape flickered in the corner of the darkness, and a sharp voice entered the cool darkness. "Come in!" The voice was deep and dark. And the darkness made it even darker. "Father Dancingcreek is having a fit again." He mumbled darkly at the memory. Oh Foreverpaw wished he could of clawed the beautiful fluffy gray she-cat's ears off. "What did I tell you about bad mouthing one of MY loyal warriors." Foreverpaw's facer broke the solid harden shape and turned pure fear. "Lashes." Than there were screams.

Foreverpaw stumbled out of the den. Bleeding from a long sharp scratch on his shoulder. He was very weak at the moment and as he stumbled closer to the medicine cat's den, Poppypaw and Berrypaw raced forwards only to be held back by, Quickstep and Rabbitsong. "He must bare this alone. The Medicine Cat can stop the bleeding but the wounds will heal with out help." Quickstep however looked at the leader's den and crowded. "He's watching." He whispered so soft that even the leader's great ears would never deceted it.

Quietsong lookedat Foreverpaw than at Yernstar and yowled at Yernstar, "HOW COULD YOU HURT YOUR OWN KIT!" She wipped away and rushed towards Foreverpaw. Foreverpaw growled at the she-cat but theflicker of his tail told him he was great-ful for the she-cat. She stepped back than rushed forwards to mumble something to Brownwhisker. "Of course I will heal all wounds. Yernstar can kiss a pile of mouse drung." As the medicine cat hurried over all the wounds she could. "Come back tomorrow and than the next three days. I'm your medicine cat and MY WORD IS ALSO LAW."

Chapter 2

Poppy Never Turn Brown

Poppypaw watched her brother stumble by. Pain shown only threw his right eye. "But Foreverpaw was hurt ma. Dad never hurts him!" Poppypaw meowed to her mother after everything was done and she was found in the nursery talking to her mom. "Listen sweetie your father isn't like other..." She cut her self off. Not only did Yernstar have great ears Riversong had greater ears. "Hello Yernstar honey." Her voice was alittle dark than her sweet voice she gave to everyone else.

"Riversong I need Poppypaw for battle training. Why are you wasting your time with your stupid daughters! You already gave me my son, why don't you get rid of that one." Yernstar growled. Pointing at Waterkit. Riversong growled and answered to Yernstar. "Take Poppypaw training but if she comes back hurt and bleeding again I will make sure the clan knows." Riversong warned her mate. Poppypaw looked at her parents and near at once that her parents were fighting again.

Over what was something she could never guess. "Yernstar lets go." She knew what was coming. Pain and horrorable memories. She had her tail lowered dragging in the dust. Yernstar followed smirking dangerously. Everyone knew that Poppypaw was abused, as well as Foreverpaw. But Poppypaw knew she got the worst. Once Yernstar and Poppypaw were out in the forest. The thickest part of course.

Poppypaw closed her eyes and meowed, "Were not battle training are we?" Yernstar smirked and that was when Poppypaw let out a pure yowled of pain. Eyes still closed she new what was happening and knew that she was still to young. She thanked Starclan for that. But there was a problem she was getting sick, and she was getting pains in her legs, for what he father was putting her threw. Opening an eyes she spotted a pair of eyes watching her. Green.

Onepaw was there watching. He could of helped her but he was a one older and would of been killed by her father. Not blinking he stared. Poppypaw mouthed her pleeded for help, but Onepaw didn't move. That's when she notice it was Onepaw's father... Fernriver. Watching in disbelief. That's when the weight was gone and Yernstar was right there, killing Fernriver. Poppypaw sat up and than ran away. Hearing Fernriver yowling, "RUN POPPYPAW!"

Chapter 3

What If Forever Found Out..

Foreverpaw had been in camp for hours. It was nearly sunhigh and Poppypaw had came back to camp with claw marks. Yeah, Foreverpaw knew what his father did. He was never proud of his father, but he had to hide it, and he thanked Starclan that he got at least that from his father. Poppypaw was lying beside him, curled into the smallest ball of fur anyone could see. Lunarpaw was on Poppypaw's other side, curled into the same small fur ball shape. Poppypaw was hidding something, but Foreverpaw didn't ask.
Around three minutes after Poppypaw came into camp, Yernstar followed dragging Fernriver's body.

Fernriver was Yernstar's father and Poppypaw's and Foreverpaw's grandfather. It was pretty scary, Yernstar had said that he and Poppypaw were battle training when Fernriver came limping forwards two rogues behind him. That where they got all these scratchs. He said Poppypaw disappeared into the brushes and said he heard moans of pleasure coming from her. That when he spotted her mating with the rogue. The same rogue that had injuried Fernriver.

That's how she ended up getting tested by Brownwhisker and when she told Yernstar that he was wrong that there was black fur tangled in her fur, he amitted to walking off to hunt leaving Poppypaw by herself to play fight with stuff he left and when he came back he found his father rapping her. Killing his father he saved her life. The clan of course brought it. Yet Foreverpaw didn't, his grandfather was the great-est tom in the world. Yes he had two mates, Yernstar's mother who died giving birth to him, and Inkheart's mother who of course is Orthia. Orthia was truely up-set.

But the problem was that no one even cared, as long as a apprentice was saved. But the only one Foreverpaw notice, that wasn't looking at the leader with respect was his mother, Riversong. Foreverpaw and Riversong thought alike. The two were very close when they hunted together. Once apon a time, before Waterkit was born, Riversong was Poppypaw's mentor and Foreverpaw was Yernstar's. That's when Foreverpaw got away with everything. He would lash out at Poppypaw when Yernstar was around but secretly, if he wasn't her brother the two would of fell in love. They were to good for one another.

But that all changed when Yernstar annouced the new mentors. I was being re-asign to Riversong when she got out of the nursery and Poppypaw was becoming Yernstar's apprentice. No-cat liked it but Poppypaw became wiser the first three moons, but than this moon she came back abused or raped. But there was still something that told Foreverpaw to stay out of it. Closing his eyes he drifted off into an un-even sleep.

"Foreverpaw!" Yernstar growled threw the bramble door-like entance. "Hurry up and get Lunarpaw and Poppypaw!" The three of them were the oldest appretice other than Onepaw, but no one liked him. Other than Foreverpaw, Lunarpaw, Poppypaw and of course his family. "What about Onepaw?" Poppypaw asked, being kind to the tom who was always left out. Yernstar sighed angerly. "Fine. ONEPAW GET OUT OF THERE TOO!" He hated Onepaw, Foreverpaw knew it.

But Onepaw was the best apprentice out of all the apprentices. He was around 18 moons now, small for his age, and always abused by his mentor, who was his mother's OLD mate. Selene was the newly added she-cat to the elder's den due to her injury in battle, she is around 34 moons the same age as Weatherclaw and alittle younger than her dead mate. Onepaw was named Onepaw for his single stripe. If Onepaw was made a warrior he could of been made leader a moon ago.

"If you four past this test you all will become warriors." Yernstar meowed. Onepaw, taking a step at a time smiled and bounced, for once, with all four paws. Lunarpaw giggled, but than was lashed at by Yernstar's tail. Poppypaw however fliched when the tail came down on the always un-scratched Lunarpaw. Foreverpaw however looked at his father and emotions broke, "HOW DARE YOU HURT LUNARPAW FOR LAUGHING AT ONEPAW WHO NEVER EVER BOUNCED WITH ALL FOUR!"

Thats all it took. "Foreverpaw you will come but you will not become a warrior for another 3 moons." Poppypaw felt threated by the thought, so Foreverpaw thought, "Well than I hate your idea for that!" That's when he snapped. "WELL I GUESS YOU'LL MISS THAT CHANCE TO BECOME A WARRIOR TOO!" Onepaw and Lunarpaw looked at one another and swiftly meowed, "Yernstar may we go ahead out. Before the sun lets go of it's warmth?" Yernstar turned and smirked at the two small toms and nodded.

"Yes lead the way apprentices, Onepaw and Poppypaw infont of me. Foreverpaw and Lunarpaw lead the way." Foreverpaw looked at Poppypaw her eyes pleading for him to disobey but Foreverpaw gave her the cold shoulder. Poppypaw frowned and as they travaled they came to the clearing where Fernriver had been killed. "Okey, Onepaw will hunt some where near the bubbling stream. "

"Foreverpaw will hunt towards the Willow Out Line. Lunarpaw will hunt in the meadow and Poppypaw will hunt in the thickest forest part. NOW GO!" He was so angry now of the apprentice, including Foreverpaw, disobeied. That's when Yernstar made his move.
