Brokenwish was lying by the river with the tip of her tail going in and out the water. The river was almost frozen but still enough water to play with. She then gave a smile and looked accross the border and wondered. "How can those cats hate water?" she asked herself. "Strange felines.." she mewed.

relaxing. a riverclan cat relaxing! how stupid.' thought the dark brown tabby she-cat with haunting amber eyes. stepping out from a reed patch the she-cat sat down her eyes flickering to brownwish, a warrior. "why are you relaxing when those flea bags over there could be planing to attack us!" growling deep in her throat the she-cat placed a single paw in the river. it's cold frosty feeling made the she-cat leap back in frustration.

Brokenwish looked at the apprentice and mewed, "Do you ever just settle down and take a deep breath and stop complaining?" She then gave a little laugh when the apprentice jumped back. "Riverclan cats are supose to love the water, not jump away from it." she finished.

Blackstar my mind is split... Do I tell her or not?
Blackstar saw Brokenwish alone and his heart swelled. Yes, he was in love with the she-cat. Though he would never show it to his Clan-mates but, maybe to Brokenwish. He was going to confront her but, then Tigerpaw stepped out from the grass. His heart sunk, when Tigerpaw scolded her. "It's not bad to take just a break, free from Clan life," he told Tigerpaw as he stepped out. Everybody knew how much Tigerpaw cared about battles. Blackstar yawned lazily as he laid down and the sunlight made his white pelt feel warm. He stretched out on the ground and then bent over the river, to take a quick lap. The water was cold and refreshing. "I don't know how other Clans can hate water," he thought. |

the apprentice snarled and meowed, "Duh i knew that! it's just cold mouse-brain. and no i will never relax when danger is around every reed bed."the dark brown tabby she-cat quickly turned on her hind paw and growled splashing water at brownwish. grinning evilly with her sassy attitude. she flickered her tail towards brownwish with a dark grin, she purred in amusment, as she leapted threw the reeds. with frustration and happiness. a odd felling for her.
than she notice her leader and boldly meowed. " oh your just sticking up for brownwish!" she puffed out a air and her slick fur shock swiftly as she leapted towards the river, "I'm gonna swim in the cold water." she did a gasp as if she was tring to tick her leader off.

Brokenwish was ready to attack that apprentice but she stayed cool with her leader showing up. She could feel her fur stand on all ends. She didnt know what to say! Now wasn't the time to get cold feet! "Even our leader agrees! And besides, their is no danger right now..so who cares? The clans are at peace, all they care about is finding food for everyone to stay strong and fit for harsh winters. You see any troubel their?" she spat.

Blackstar watched in amusement as Tigerpaw frolicked around. This is how apprentices should be, not watching for battle at every moment... He settled down to Brokenwish. His heart ached to tell her, but he wouldn't with Tigerpaw around. Perhaps she would leave soon and they would have some time to themselves. He didn't know how she felt about him and nervousness swept him up. Which was rare in Blackstar. To be nervous.

Brokenwish nodded to her leader and mewed, "One day I a gonna thorw that apprentice in the river and not feel sorry." She then looked over at the apprentice and then back at her leader. "How are things going as being leader?" she asked.

the she-cat stopped turned towards her leader and mentor and meowed. " why are you nervous??" the she-cat meowed walking closer to the leader and brownwish. her eyes wide with mischeif. grinning, better yet smirking she sat down infont of the two cats. she wasn't about to leave when things could get good.
thinking swiftly she turned and begain to walk away hidding herself in the reeds, unable to be seen, but her scent was still strong around here so she could stay and listen. frozen she sat and listen. unable to be seen and most likely not able to scent either.

Blackstar let out a rumble of amusement as Brokenwish made her comment. Now it was his turn to speak. "Fine, I guess you could say," he meowed. He felt awkward around her and shifted his body so he could look at the river. "I don't know about Leaf-Bare though. The river is going to freeze up and we'll have to hunt land-prey," he almost spat out the word land-prey but, stopped himself. He wished the water wasn't so cold. Then he could go and swim for a bit.

Brokenwish sat up and was ready to yell at the apprentice when she saw her race away into the bushes. She put apaw to her head ad shook it. "I'm gonna feel so sorry for who ever gets that thing for an apprentice" She then watched just to make sure that Tigerpaw wasn't coming back and then lied back down.

the she-cat watched. her eyes peaking out from behind a fat patch of reeds. a mouse flickered before her and her paw caught it swiftly. lying still she watched and listen for what was going on. she would us it against them some day. dangling her paw over the mouse lying therew was getting boring. flickering the mouse to the left then right the she-cat started to get rest-less.

Blackstar looked back at Brokenwish, relieved that Tigerpaw was gone. Now he could say what he had wanted to for a long time. "Brokenwish-" he drew in a breath, getting ready for what he was going to say, "I think im in love with you." Blackstar looked away and tensed himself for the harsh rejection. He stifled a sigh and forced himself to look back at Brokenwish. He couldn't tell what she was thinking in her mind and her eyes were unreadable. Now he'd have to wait.

Brokenwish turned her head slowly to her leader with relaxed eyes and relaxed body. "Thats funny..because..I Think i'm on live with you too.." she mewed sweetly. She then placed a paw over his and mewed, "Theirs no reason to be scared Blackstar. Its only us."

the she-cat left and meowed softly, "oh so it's true!" she stepped forwards and purred in amusment. grinning swiftly the she-cat sat infont of the two warriors. "so... first who's gonna be my mentor and second. OH MY STARCLAN YOU LOVE THIS CAT!" she was talking to blackstar about brokenwish near the end. she smirked at brokenwish and laughed in her face.
