Skeletonpaw padded forward her paws clumsy in the darkness.Shadows flickered on the edges of her vision like little creature waiting for the chance to strike.She shivered and felt the fur on the back of her neck start to rise.Usually nighttime didnt bother her but for some reason tonight she felt..unnerved.Slinking low along the ground she stopped as the looming boulders of Sunning Rocks rose up infront of her.Without the sunlight warming them the rocks looked like giant sleeping bears.Big enough to flatten a cat in one swipe.
Licking her chest fur quietly,Skeletonpaw bunched her hind legs under her and lunged up onto the nearest rock.It wasnt a hard leap the boulder was only about a tail-length or so high.Sighing Skeletonpaw settled down in a natural dip in the rock and looked up.The clan would probably be wondering where she was but who cares it didnt matter that much.

Knowing she should be back at the camp in case of any sudden injury,Hawkheart was on her way back. She had been out daydreaming,and hadn't realised she wandered so far away from her den.The limp body of the mouse hanging in her mouth made every other scent around her smell faint. Laying the limp body down for a minute, the one-eyed she-cat sniffed around.
Her green eye looked towards the rocks that were apparently named 'Sunning Rocks', she saw a small apprentice.Well,Not small but young."Young one, what are you doing out here alone?Another clan's cat or cats could attack any minute!" She giggled at herself. Hawkheart was always suspicious about Thunderclan. They were always so quiet, but it turned out they were normally planning a battle.Waiting for the apprentice to reply, she grabbed some burdock root she smelt that was next to her.

Skeletonpaw jumped looking up at the cat that had spoken to her.She sighed as she saw Hawkheart next to her.Looking away she took a breath and replied."Im just thinking about thinking...i mean im thoughts and about thinking..."She hissed and licked her chest fur embarrassed.Why couldn't she get anything right?Thoughts about Thinking?I mean really.She gulped and turned around.She avoided the medicine cats gaze and stared at the ground.Just something about only one eyes just unnerved her and she couldn't keep her gaze.

Tearstar then stepped out of the shadows and saw her medicine cat and apprentice. She looked over at the apprentice and thought for a few seconds. She then padded up to her medicine cat and mewed, "Skeletonpaw you really should tell a warrior or I if your going out. I was looking for to do something and I thought you were with a warrrior out hunting but now that I came accross you..I know where you are now..but please tell some cat where you are. I can lose any cats or apprentices around this time."

Hearing another cat behind her,she could smell the leader."She's right,Skeletonpaw. Tearstar could of been a Riverclan cat wanting Sunningrocks back and wanted to fight you!" Scratching her ear,she kept switching her glare to both the cats.

"Goodthing is that Riverclan will never get sunning rocks because its our and always will be. Hwakheart does have a point young one. Food is getting harder adn harder to find. Who knew what could have attacked you and dragged you off in a hole and we would never find you.." She then looked at her medicine cat and then back at the apprentice. "If you do this again in the future I will have no choise but to punish you love. I wil let you go this one but its not spring dear..where you can go and do what you please.." she mewed a bit more harshly.

Skeletonpaw muttered under her breath how unfair the two were being.Her head was down in an ashamed manner but truth is she didnt feel like she had done anything wrong at all.This just wasnt fair being an apprentice.You were always treated like a kit and not allowed to do anything.She padded to the edge of the rocks and jumped down her paws hittin the ground with a soft thump.Letting her gaze drift to the ground she mumbled a silent sorry to both her leader and her medicine cat and waited for them to return to camp.

She looked at her medicine cat and whispered, "Was I too harsh?" She then glanced at the apprentice then back at her medicine cat with worried eyes.

"That's what I would of said." Hawkheart yawned,looking into the leader's eyes. Shivering,she looked around. It was kinda creepy that,besides her eye the leader and herself looked alike.
